To prepare ship as dive support we needed to upgrade ship DP system.  Kongsberg SDP Simrad is now equpped with new gyro, two new Hemisphere dgps and new VRU. All equipment was installed connected and configured by our technicans. All modifications were tested and certified by Kongsberg during seatrials in March.

As addition we have installed Sonardyne Scout USBL system. We have used old HPR mast for new Sonardyne transducer. All cabling and required connections were made by our coleagues. Our technicans configured and tested system with Wideband transponder during trials – System works perfectly with DP.

Another task was modification of ship MSB and Dive Switchboard. In newbuild rooms on deck we have instaled new distribution switchboard and dedicated Cummins generator just for diving equipment and air compressors. New switchboard was accepted by RINA.

Another requirement for clients was to prepare various connections for dive control team, various ethernet, cctv, communications cables were prepared between deck container, survey room and bridge. Also brand new DP light system was designed and installed.

Additionaly we have replaced CCTV system to brand new with six cameras covering outside of vessel. Internal and external communication were improved by new intercom/telephone system – each cabin have its own telephone number woth or without external line access.

We have also installed brand new Intellian V-Sat antenna – it required new rack with antenna equipment, routers and ethernet switches.

Now ship has sailed to Den Helder for its first work.
