Our scope o work was rebuild of main switchboard – we have added additional Main Switchboard field to control and synchronize additional generator set for cold hold compressors. During reconstruction we have discovered in load balance calculation that with new generator all breakers in switchboard had to be replaced – its short circuit safety was rated too low. Also new installations which took place of seismic equipment onboard, required a lot of electric modifications. New cableways, cable penetrations and switchboards – mostly for new cold storage hold. Our company had pulled all cables required for this job.
Additionally Main Engine required modification of speed control – before it was not possible to control RPMs from bridge. We have completly modified air control system to fit new needs – control valves were modified and overhauled for bridge/engine room control location change – signal for RPM from bridge is electric – we have installed additional lever on control station. For that needs we have overhauled and installed current to pressure converter in engine room.

Ship has left for work end of 2016.
