Once again we were invited to overhaul and modernize Mining Ship Ya Toivo.
This time during drydocking we were tasked with:
- Connecting new mining crawler to ship network and ship power,
- preparation of all auxillary connections, pumps and power supplies for new crawler,
- installation of new VFD for crawler, additional LV/MV transformer and connection, termination of MV cables.
- Inspection and overhaul of 5 medium voltage engines.
- Selection, calculation for additional sin-filter installation.
- Inspection and overhaul of ABB Megastar VFD
Our technicians were working in Africa during dry-docking period. All jobs were finished and ship is back on duty.
